A superb opportunity for a Market Strategy Manager to join a Global Company with an outstanding people strategy, strong EDI policy and a flexible approach to working hours.  This is a newly created role on the back of the business looking at ways to create more detailed and accurate pricing information and provide financial data that support commercial decisions. This role will assist the Sales Management Team with decision making data to identify target markets, developing competitor intelligence, supporting pricing decisions and to assist in developing the strategic marketing plan.

The purpose of this role is to oversee the development and delivery of the strategic market plan in conjunction with the Sales and Business Development team and to coordinate the product and market input in to the Annual Business Plan and Strategic Plan.

  • To lead and develop the Market Intelligence team in to a professional and essential business support function
  • To develop professional market intelligence, analysis and opportunity identification processes
  • To lead and develop the company Brand
  • To manage the Marketing budget
  • To develop professional sales reporting tools
  • To develop and implement the strategic marketing plan to support the delivery of the strategic plan
  • To supply market analysis in support of future growth opportunities and investment cases
  • Manage External communication, sales material and the network of agencies that support the marketing deliverables.

To be considered for the role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Degree level qualified
  • Development of Strategic Marketing Plans
  • Development and delivery of marketing plans including branding, exhibitions, web-sites, PR, and market intelligence
  • Held a similar role in Marketing, ideally in a similar/ related business for >3 years
  • Has experience in market intelligence, analysis and opportunity identification processes
