Payroll Administrator - Well established manufacturing company

Payroll Administrator required for a large, well established manufacturing business in Sheffield.

The purpose of the Payroll Administrator is the processing and payment of weekly and monthly payroll to ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time whilst adhering to all statutory and legal requirements. 

Reporting to the Financial Controller duties to include:

  • Processing and payment of weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Calculation and payment of deductions and statutory payments.
  • Producing payroll analysis for internal and external parties.
  • Taking ownership of balance sheet reconciliations relating to payroll.
  • Taking ownership of P&L reconciliations relating to payroll.
  • Assisting Management accountants with accounts analysis and budget/forecasting process.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

This search is not limited to any industry. Previous experience of running payroll, end to end, is essential to this recruitment.

  • Experience using computerised payroll software & Time & Attendance, such as ADP, may be beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • You must have an understanding of on-going legislative changes which affect payroll.
