We're delighted to be working with Mattress Online in the search for an experienced personal assistant

Are you ready for a new and interesting challenge? Looking to join an established high-growth company, where you can make a real difference?

About the business:

The role will require you to have an agile, start-up mindset, even though we’re not a start-up! We are a small(ish) but established profitable business innovating and growing rapidly. You will be a key member of the executive team, working directly with the CEO and COO. We are an agile, decisive company where new ideas are welcome. We are a friendly supportive bunch, we promote a good work-life balance, and are mindful of our team’s health and wellbeing.

We are looking for an experienced Executive PA to assist the CEO and COO in growing Mattress Online. This is an exciting opportunity to put your skills to use and directly contribute to our future success.

We are hiring for culture fit and mindset as much as experience and skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary management, organising and scheduling meetings and making sure the CEO and COO are where they need to be
  • Arranging travel and accommodation
  • Email inbox management
  • General administrative duties across a variety of areas, from opening post, to Ad-hoc purchasing
  • Minute taking for meetings including the CEO and COO when relevant
  • Confidential HR Support incl employment contract management
  • Preparation of meeting agendas.
  • Supporting the CEO with his personal diary, rental properties, family birthdays, holiday bookings and organising some social activities.

Who are we looking for?

You will be an experienced personal assistant with a proven record of supporting an executive team, working collaboratively to maximise their time, workflow and productivity.

You will need to be proactive, comfortable making decisions with the ability to work independently. You will be within commuting distance of Rotherham but flexible to attend our Sheffield office as required.

Importantly you will have a can-do attitude, with a no job too small mindset, happy to roll your sleeves up when required whilst seeing the bigger picture. Confidentiality will be key and an understanding of the responsibility that comes with involvement in decision-making at management level.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience working with an executive team
  • Experience working in a high-growth company where you need to think on your feet, no two days are the same!
  • Experience working with Google Docs and Gmail
  • Flexibility to work across multiple disciplines
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent written and grammar skills
  • Experience working with a wider management team

Benefits

  • Generous bonus scheme
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
  • Gym Membership
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Your own private office
