Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Interim Procurement Manager to support a dynamic and fast-paced organisation through a critical period of change and delivery.

This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive professional who can quickly embed into the team, provide strategic direction, and drive value across a diverse portfolio of spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activity across a broad range of categories, with a strong focus on estates, capital projects, and facilities-related services
  • Provide expert guidance on procurement strategy, sourcing, and supplier management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procurement regulations and internal governance frameworks
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Identify and deliver cost savings, efficiencies, and value-for-money outcomes
  • Support contract negotiations, tender processes, and supplier performance management

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating as a Procurement Manager in an interim or contract capacity
  • Strong background in property, estates, or infrastructure-related procurement would be beneficial
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex sourcing projects and contracts
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and deliver results at pace

Desirable:

  • MCIPS qualification or equivalent
