Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a hugely successful SME based in the Scunthorpe area.  In order to support their future growth plans, the business is looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to its established finance team on a permanent basis.  

Reporting into the Financial Controller your key duties will be:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Analysis and review of monthly expenses
  • Prepare supplier payments
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Handle and resolve all queries
  • Credit Card analysis
  • Support wider finance team with driving efficiencies and streamlining processes 

You must have previous and recent experience within an Accounts Payable role, ideally full purchase to pay.  You will have the confidence and aptitude to look into existing processes, able to suggest and implement improvements.   There is the opportunity for the role to develop into a Purchase Ledger Team Leader as the business continues to expand.
