Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a market leader based in Doncaster (office-based). This is an 11‑month maternity cover position with an immediate start. 

Applications from candidates with Purchase Ledger experience or with good administration/data-inputting skills and good attention to detail will be considered.

Reporting to the Team Leader, duties will include:

  • Batching, coding and inputting high-volume invoices onto the system. 
  • Ensuring invoices are authorised for payment. 
  • Dealing with queries. 
  • Liaising with internal staff and suppliers to resolve issues. 
  • Updating and maintaining supplier accounts. 
  • Other ad hoc duties as required. 

The person:

  • Good IT skills are required. 
  • You will have good attention to detail, along with a willingness to learn. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
