Our successful Sheffield-based client within the metals industry is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and environmental performance throughout their operations. They are seeking a suitably experienced person to lead their Quality Management and ensure ISO compliance.

Responsibilities:
- ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Systems - manage, maintain, and continuously improve
- Internal Audits - plan, execute, document and action
- Quality Documentation – maintain accurate reports and performance metrics.
- Product Quality Standards - oversee quality standards, inspections, and non-conformance processes.
- Lead quality investigations
- Train and support staff in quality procedures and best practices.
- Compliance - industry regulations, customer requirements, and company policies.
- Lean Management Culture – encourage improvement
The Person:
- Proven experience in a Quality Manager, QHSE, Quality Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience working in the stainless steel, metals, or related industrial sectors is advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Qualified and experienced internal auditor.
- Competency in producing clear reports and maintaining quality records.
- Experience working with ERP software (SAP advantageous)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
