Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk

Experienced Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk required for a private equity backed manufacturing organisation based in Rotherham. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has seen an increase in turnover this year with aggressive growth plans for future. 

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the timely production of sales invoices and ensure the debt collection is managed. Reporting to the Accountant duties will include:

  • Checking sales invoices against customer orders daily
  • Sending invoices daily
  • Credit control using written and verbal communication
  • Dealing with queries
  • Liaising with internal staff and customers to resolve issues quickly and efficiently 
  • Updating and maintaining the database
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

This search is not limited to any industry. Experience and good communication skills are key:

  • Previous experience of sales ledger and credit control is essential 
  • Must be able to use initiative and take sole responsibility and ownership of the ledger
  • Working knowledge of Excel is essential 
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 would be advantageous but full training will be given
