Experienced Accounts Assistant required for a group of companies with the Head Office based in Chesterfield. This is an opportunity for someone looking to develop/progress in their career.
The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Finance Director whilst also supporting the wider business:
- Maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Credit control using written and verbal communication.
- Processing payroll for c100 employees weekly, 4 weekly and monthly.
- Dealing with month-end procedures including accruals, prepayments, journals etc.
- General bookkeeping.
- Dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
This search is not limited to any industry. Previous experience is essential.
- Good IT skills are required.
- Knowledge of Sage 50 payroll is desirable.
- You will be methodical with good attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
