We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior Buyer to join the Commercial team of a business located in the West Yorkshire area.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Buyer:
- Develop sourcing strategies for tenders.
- Manage supplier pre-qualification.
- Collaborate on tender documents and contract terms.
- Evaluate tender responses and lead clarification meetings.
- Assess tender value and affordability.
- Prepare award proposals and execute contracts.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
About You:
- Advanced commercial acumen and data management.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management.
- Experience with multi-million-pound contracts.
- Knowledge of terms and conditions.
- Comprehensive procurement experience.
- Minimum A-Level education or equivalent.
- MCIPS accreditation (or working towards it).
- Full UK clean driving licence.
- Proven project management and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of contract law and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
