Treasury Assistant require for a large distribution business based in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to start their career in finance with a company that will support professional studies and professional development/progression. 

The role of the Treasury Assistant is to primarily support the Treasury department whilst also supporting the wider business.

Reporting to the Head of Treasury duties to include:

  • Daily reconciliation of subsidiary sales ledgers.
  • Assisting with the daily monitoring of finance facilities. 
  • Daily bank reconciliations (including USD and Euro's). 
  • Dealing with any queries and investigating un-reconciled items. 
  • Balance sheet reconciliations at month end. 
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

  • You will have a finance/maths related degree or studying towards AAT.
  • You will have the drive and ambition to develop further through advanced study. 
  • Experience of Excel is required. 
  • Accuracy and a keen eye for detail is essential.
