This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a manufacturing company located in Rotherham. This role is to cover maternity leave and with the company growing so fast this does have the potential to become a permanent position. Someone who can start immediately would be advantageous as we are looking for a start date in May.

The key deliverables for this position are:
- Ensure timely and accurate production of monthly financial statements
- Oversee expenses, manage the company car fleet and insurance, and handle treasury management with bank reconciliations.
- Enforce and review accounting policies and controls, while also managing cashflow reporting, forecasting, and tax planning (including VAT).
- Coordinate internal audits, support the annual external audit with the finance team, and organise key information for the annual R&D claim.
