Founded in 1985 and proudly family-owned for three generations, Ashleigh Signs has built a reputation for quality, innovation, and dependability. As the company enters a new phase of growth, it is looking for a dynamic Business Operations Director (BOD) to join the senior leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for the Projects, Production, and Construction departments. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, foster a culture of high performance and service, and play a key role in shaping the future of the business - strategically, commercially, and culturally.

Your Core Focus:

Lead by example, model the company’s values and inspire a high-performing, accountable culture
Deliver operational excellence and consistently high service levels across all departments
Embed lean thinking, robust systems, and collaborative working practices
Represent Operations at Board level and contribute to strategic planning and execution
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Recruit, mentor, and manage senior operational leaders to support long-term success

What You Bring:

5+ years of senior operational leadership experience
A proven track record across production, projects, or construction environments
Background in manufacturing, signage, or construction (preferred)
A strategic thinker with a practical, execution-focused leadership style
High emotional intelligence and a structured, resilient management approach
Full-time, on-site presence with the flexibility required for high-impact delivery
