We are supporting a global manufacturing business in North Nottingham to recruit a Cost Accountant. You will report to the UK Finance Director and be responsible for delivering accurate cost analysis and insights that drive operational performance.
Cost Accountant - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - £50-60k, day rate may be considered.
Key Responsibilities

Analyse and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and margins.

Maintain and improve standard costing and inventory valuation.

Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
About You

Qualified/part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBE

Extensive experience in manufacturing cost accounting.

Strong systems experience

Commercially minded and confident working cross-functionally.
We are looking for someone available to start a new assignment in the next 3 weeks ideally.
