Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Master Data Administrator to join a large business within the Business Process team.

Strong data analysis skills are required - ideally with MS Excel and internal systems and data management tools. The Master Data Administrator will be responsible for maintaining master data and streamlining processes where possible.

Duties:

  • Setting up new data sets on internal systems
  • Ensuring correct coding of key business information such as customer records, product details, supplier data, and financial hierarchies
  • Cross-checking data across different departments, highlighting inconsistencies
  • Ensuring a high level of accuracy of master data across the business
  • Supporting reporting and data capture projects

Experience:

  • Ability to work with large data sets, manipulating and analysing data
  • Educational or professional level qualification within a related subject
  • Technically-minded and able to easily familiarise with various internal systems
  • Attention to detail - high level of accuracy and ability to spot anomalies
  • Able to and comfortable with spending long periods of time using display screens
  • Systematic approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
