The purpose of the Finance Assistant is to support the finance department with day-to-day functions through transactional accounting duties:
- Inputting and processing purchase ledger invoices.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Dealing with any queries.
- Updating and maintaining cashbooks in multiple currencies.
- Creating new customer and supplier accounts.
- Credit control.
- Managing the expenses system.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
- The successful candidate will be QAAT or currently studying towards.
- You will be self-motivated with a "can do" attitude.
- Previous experience is required, preferably within a high-volume transactional environment.
- Good IT skills are essential.
