Finance Manager

Hybrid (up to 4 days WFH) - Northern General Hospital

As a Finance Manager your duties will include:  

  • Provide financial advice and support to one or more Clinical Directorates within a Clinical Care group
  • Deputise for the Care Group Finance Manager at Directorate Executive Meetings and in other forums as appropriate
  • Be responsible for overseeing the monthly reporting cycle for a designated Care Group/Corporate Directorates including producing the monthly finance report for submission to TEG
  • Be responsible for the production of financial information contained within the Directorate’s annual Business Plan and the financial information provided in support of the production of cost pressure, service development and activity bids from the Directorate
  • Provide high quality financial services, information, analysis and advice to all levels of the organisation

Experience required:

  • Previous Management Accountant experience
  • Studying towards or qualified in a finance qualification i.e. ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Technically minded
  • Fixed asset experience
