Due to continued growth through acquisition, CBT are looking to add an experienced FP&A analyst to their finance team.
The opportunity:
You will join as an FP&A analyst, where you will work closely with the Group Head of FP&A and the existing Financial Operations team and other functional departments across the group, particularly Operations, Commercial and Account Management teams. This is a key role within a rapidly growing business, and you will be responsible the production of month-end financial information, day to day financial and KPI analysis and the maintenance of budgeting / forecasting models supporting business growth.
You will also produce and distribute cost analysis and financial and non-financial KPIs and support other teams (commercial, operations, clinical) with analytical assistance.
Financial Planning Analyst Responsibilities:
- Production of Month End packs.
- Maintenance of budgeting / forecasting models on performance and cash.
- Support the integration of new businesses into the monthly reporting obligations of the Group.
- Work with stakeholders in different teams, develop forecasts and have up to date knowledge of the business.
- Business partnering in the organisation and helping develop the approach as the group expands.
- Analyse cost variances incurred and enhancing the understanding of business performance to share with key stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation of a new budgeting and forecasting tool.
- Ad hoc analysis as required CFO, the investors and the wider business.
Financial Planning Analyst Requirements:
- A qualified accountant e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) ideally with experience of working in an FP&A environment.
- A confident IT user with advanced Excel skills able to manage large and complex databases and an ability to pick up new IT systems quickly.
- Excellent analytical skills able to identify trends in data and share these with both financial and non-financial users.
- An ambitious team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to lead others.
