An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT based business who have continued growth in the UK and Europe. This role would suit an Accountant with a proactive and driven attitude looking to continue their professional development in a fast-paced environment with a global outlook.

You will have responsibility for the revenue recognition for a portfolio of their European product lines, analysing their revenue performance against budget and prior periods and liaising with key contacts within the global operational business to ensure accurate reporting.

Conduct month-end analysis on recognised revenues by customer, identifying and explaining variances to budget/forecast.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Account Managers to monitor revenue performance, ensuring project accuracy.
Ensure all financial transactions are correctly processed and accurately reflected in the general ledgers.
Review customer contracts for revenue recognition and system set up.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and reporting variances
Ensure compliance with internal financial reporting standards.
Assist with Group and local statutory audits.
