Management Accountant

A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing and supportive finance team. This is a key hire and would suit someone fully qualified with a solid few years of post-qualification experience – someone confident supporting a Finance Manager and comfortable owning core month-end processes.

The role includes:

  • Preparing full monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
  • Balance sheet ownership including fixed assets and reconciliations
  • Business partnering across the wider business
  • Supporting statutory accounts, audit and tax requirements
  • Providing insight, reporting and commentary to senior stakeholders
  • Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and planning
  • Helping improve systems, controls and processes
  • Getting involved in project work, systems upgrades and continuous improvement

What they’re looking for:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • A good level of experience at Management Accountant level
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Confident, proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Someone who can support and uplift the Finance Manager
  • Able to start at short notice (preferred but not essential)
