The Job:

Responsible for driving value and aligning procurement activities with the company’s strategic objectives. The role will involve purchasing a variety of indirect products and services.

  • Purchasing indirect products, services and contracts in line with the company's requirements and ensuring measurable commercial and operational outcomes
  • Building and developing strong supplier relationships
  • Monitor supplier data to ensure performance levels are within agreed SLAs
  • Carry out supplier visits and audits
  • Implementing and embedding procurement improvements
  • Engaging with stakeholders, driving budget compliance and develop tender specifications

Required experience:

  • At least 6 years' experience in a Senior Buyer or Purchasing Manager role with high spend responsibility
  • Experience purchasing Indirects and services/contracts
  • Proven solid negotiation skills
  • Experience within manufacturing purchasing is an advantage.
  • CIPS qualification
