The Job:

Senior Buyer, responsible for driving value and aligning procurement activities with the company’s strategic objectives. The role will involve purchasing a variety of indirect products and services.

Purchasing indirect products, services and contracts in line with the company's requirements and ensuring measurable commercial and operational outcomes
Building and developing strong supplier relationships
Monitor supplier data to ensure performance levels are within agreed SLAs
Carry out supplier visits and audits
Implementing and embedding procurement improvements
Engaging with stakeholders, driving budget compliance and develop tender specifications

Required experience:

At least 6 years' experience in a Senior Buyer role or a Buyer role with high spend responsibility
Experience purchasing Indirects and services/contracts
Proven solid negotiation skills
Experience within manufacturing, engineering purchasing is an advantage.
CIPS qualification or a willingness to work towards one is required
