12-month Senior HR Advisor opportunity.

Regional Senior HR Advisor - North of England, north Midlands, and Wales.

We're assisting our client in recruiting a suitably experienced ER expert with a Senior HR Advisor background for 12 months, in a regional role across the North of England, hybrid, with one day per month roughly to visit the office in South Yorkshire for meetings. The role attracts:

The role involves:

  • Working closely with union representatives to build positive working relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Delivering HR support to line managers and employees across various UK sites
  • Trusted partner to senior management, advising on people-related matters.
  • Using reports and information to identify, and implement new ideas to drive improvement.
  • Using data to inform decisions and using BI to build up a better picture of areas for improvement and enhanced understanding
  • Monitoring and reviewing HR policies, and updating where necessary.

To be successful in your application you need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience at a Senior HR Advisor or HR BP/Manager level within a multi-site business
  • The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your caseload, working closely alongside the wider team
  • Experience with complex HR cases, working proactively towards effective resolutions
  • Ability to use your adaptable and clear communication style to liaise with people at all levels across the organisation to relay complex HR advice to non-HR colleagues.   
  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification.

Contracted hours are 37 per week, this is a hybrid role with approximately 3 days on site (at locations across the North of England, north Midlands or Wales) and 2 days remotely, with office-based meetings once per month in South Yorkshire, for a period of 12 months.
