I am recruiting an experienced Transactional Manager to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking finance team based in Chesterfield. This role is ideal for results-driven individuals with a passion for streamlining business processes and a proven ability to lead and inspire teams
As Transactional Manager, you will oversee the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger/Credit Control functions, leading a team, driving performance, ensuring compliance, and streamlining transactional processes to support the wider business.
Key responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the transactional finance team.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all AP, AR, and cash transactions.
- Develop and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support financial reporting and audit requirements.
- Monitor KPIs and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop team members to support their growth and success.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a large or complex organisation is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills are essential.
- Excellent knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Excel is required..
- You will have a detail-oriented mindset with a drive for efficiency and accuracy.
