Business Development/Trading role

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join a growing team in an exciting, fast-paced industry.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and expansion of the organisation by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and telephone calls
- Secure contacts for a variety of products from customers such as industrial plants, automotive industries, factories, engineering and manufacturing clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- Experience within some kind of sales role or trading/purchasing role preferrable
- Commercial awareness
- Numerate, able to quickly make sums and recognise margins/profitability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - adaptable style
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Economics, or similar related subject is an advantage but not a requirement
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
