Business Development/Trading role

  • Competitive base salary plus quarterly bonus
  • Office-based, with customer visits weekly in the region

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join a growing team in an exciting, fast-paced industry.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and expansion of the organisation by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue.

Duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and telephone calls
  • Secure contacts for a variety of products from customers such as industrial plants, automotive industries, factories, engineering and manufacturing clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Experience within some kind of sales role or trading/purchasing role preferrable
  • Commercial awareness
  • Numerate, able to quickly make sums and recognise margins/profitability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - adaptable style
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Economics, or similar related subject is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
