Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be a key member of the Board and Senior Management Team. You will play a pivotal role in commercial decision making and provide strategic and operational financial leadership. As Group Finance Director, you will be involved in setting and driving organisational vision and strategy, leading the finance and systems agenda across the Group, and maintaining and improving the financial health of the business.
The successful Group Finance Director is likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent). You will have worked in a similar position in a manufacturing/engineering organisation reporting to the MD, ideally within an SME with the ability to see the bigger picture to move the business forward. You will have a strong character with the confidence to challenge stakeholders and influence the direction of the business at Board level. You will have the ability to mentor and influence the Senior Management Team, working as a key member of a small, close knit senior team, suiting someone who enjoys high levels of collaboration.
