We have been retained by a £4m t/o group of companies in the heart of the Peak District to recruit their new Group Financial Controller. With a number of exciting projects already signed off they will grow significantly in the next two years. Reporting directly to the MD you will be the number one person in finance and there is a clear route planned to Finance Director.
As well as overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external advisors to drive the business forward. Due to this you must be comfortable in a highly visible and business-facing position.
Brief overview of responsibilities:
- Preparation of the weekly group cash flow forecast.
- Assist and monitor all finance KPI’s on an ongoing basis and ensure liquidity.
- Manage debtors and creditors ensuring payment terms are adhered to.
- Group Bonus/Pension Scheme
- Preparation of the annual financial and capital budgets with rolling three-year period
- Quarterly reporting of the Management Accounts
- Co-ordinating the annual audit process for the Group
- Annual corporation tax work and capital allowances
- Preparation of the statutory accounts (in-house) for the smaller entities in the Group
- Review monthly/quarterly VAT returns for submission.
To be considered you must be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 5 years of experience in a Finance Manager/Financial Controller position.
