As the Head of Human Resources for the European operations, you'll spearhead HR strategies aligning with business objectives. Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, you'll lead a small HR team, serving as the primary point of contact for all HR and employee-related matters across European entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop visionary HR strategies in sync with organisational goals.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting diversity, inclusion, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive organisational effectiveness and growth.
  • Provide guidance and management ensuring high-quality HR services.
  • Innovate and cultivate inclusivity within the HR team.
  • Lead senior-level recruitment and succession planning.
  • Implement retention strategies and career development initiatives.
  • Advise and support business leaders on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance and conflict resolution.
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance skills.
  • Facilitate leadership development and mentorship initiatives.
  • Standardise employment policies ensuring legal compliance.
  • Collaborate on legal matters and promote ethical conduct.

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar senior HR role with experience of working Internationally.
  • Strong understanding of European labour legislation.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and data-driven decision-making.
  • Fluency in additional European languages would be an advantage.
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or similar industries.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
