An attractive opportunity has arisen to work for a growing PE-backed company who are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an FP&A manager on an interim basis.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Assessing profitability and margins, and offering actionable insights.
- Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance profit.
- Operating the pricing model to assist the sales team with bids and tenders.
- Supporting strategic and investment decisions through business cases and ROI analysis.
- Modelling and overseeing workforce planning, aligning staffing levels with forecasted activity.
- Managing the forecasting process, aiming to improve both speed and accuracy.
Key characteristics of the ideal candidate:
- A qualified individual (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Experience in analysing and business partnering with directors, senior team members, and colleagues across the business.
- A track record of driving improvements in profitability through clear and meaningful analysis of sales, costs, and margins.
- Expertise in Excel, BI, and SQL.
