About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment and has a keen interest in global logistics and ethical manufacturing. As Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of the company’s operational activities — from procurement and stock management to production oversight, order fulfilment, and process improvement.

You’ll work closely with teams across the business, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while developing long-term strategies to support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement of raw materials, including supplier negotiation and delivery scheduling
  • Coordinate and manage production planning, quality control, and documentation
  • Lead sales order fulfilment, including packing coordination, shipping documentation, and customer service support
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate data in Sage 200 and tracking systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and risk management
  • Line manage and support the development of an Operations Assistant

About You:

  • Proven experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics (preferably in manufacturing/export environments)
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Confident working cross-functionally with a hands-on, can-do approach
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Sage 200 (or similar software)
  • Previous line management experience is desirable
