The Job:

Responsible for driving value and aligning procurement activities with the company’s strategic objectives. The role will be responsible for a large CAPEX and Subcontract spend across a variety of indirect products and services within the engineering/manufacturing sector.

  • Ensuring measurable commercial and operational outcomes from all procurement activities
  • Building and developing strong supplier relationships
  • Monitor supplier data to ensure performance levels are within agreed SLAs
  • Carrying out supplier visits and audits
  • Implementing and embedding procurement improvements
  • Engaging with stakeholders, driving budget compliance and develop tender specifications

Required experience:

  • At least 6 years' experience in a CAPEX and Subcontract – related category at a Senior Buyer level or above
  • Evidence of high spend responsibility
  • Proven solid negotiation skills
  • CIPS qualification
